Product Introduction

ZLGW-R01 is a 2.4G wireless gateway designed for livestock farming. It continuously sniffs broadcasts from smart ear tags within a 300 m line-of-sight range, with a sniffing throughput of up to 500 packets/s. The gateway uploads data to the cloud via 4G / WiFi / Ethernet (PoE), uses the MQTT protocol, and supports per-device IMEI configuration of server address and topic prefix with regex filtering of invalid data. It offers both Web and AP configuration modes and supports OTA firmware upgrades, enabling fast farm deployment and long-term maintenance-free operation.

Key Features

As the local aggregation node of the livestock IoT, ZLGW-R01 reliably uploads ear-tag data — body temperature, step count, tamper alarm and battery level — to the cloud over MQTT. It supports 4G / WiFi / Ethernet uplinks as mutual backups, adapting to farms without broadband or with weak networks; Web/AP configuration and OTA upgrades remove the need for on-site firmware flashing.

Application Scenarios

Suitable for wireless coverage and data collection on scaled cattle/sheep farms. Paired with the ZLEB1 smart ear tag, it builds a livestock IoT system covering temperature monitoring, step counting, tamper alarm and real-time positioning (LBS).
